The Xelastec are my third favorites 👍.

Very sticky, not durable (but you just have to be a little careful. No hot water ! 🔥🙄💦), a relative narrow soundstage (but deep, if the uiem's and the music are) and colored (medium forward).

But for what remains, only good things. 👍

By far the best alternative to foam tips as I think. 😎
also a point that needs to be mentioned. Because they stick like that, other things also like to stick to them. After wearing them for a long time, I always have to wash the tips off with soap and cold water. what are your other favorites?

Yes, the same.

My number one, of all time :

https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/gp/product/B0991RL358/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

But you need to fit it... If it's the cas, absolute weapon.

A review, here :

https://www.audioreviews.org/guide-to-iem-silicone-eartips/

Canal Works CW Single Nozzle 《肉球》”Nikukyuu” (CWU-GECM)

Bore size: narrow
Stem length: short
Feel: sturdy and firm
Bass: 4.75
Midrange: 5.00
Treble: 5.00
Soundstage: 4.00
Vocal presence: 4.50

This eartip is basically Canal Works CWU-ECM with silicone “gel” infused to the inner-cavity of the cap. Improved bass and lower-midrange over the “non-gel” version. Not suitable for bright-sounding earphones.

Completely agree.

one variant :

https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/CWU-G...cs&sprefix=Canal+Works,electronics,295&sr=1-2

This is the wide bore version. I have that with my FiiO Fh9, because they don't fit the narrow version which preceded.

And my second choice :

https://fr.aliexpress.com/i/1005004549512626.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2fra

With... gel from Canal Works (any version). :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Again a test here (https://www.audioreviews.org/guide-to-iem-silicone-eartips/), and agree too. :beerchug:

These where my best tips with my late Kaiser Encore's (no compatibility with the Canal Works tips, wide or narrow... :sleepy:)

Yes. I know.
Thanks

The only problem is that I live in Germany and there is nothing by Canal Works here
The only source I know = Amazon Japan.

The delivery fees are high, but... :L3000:

Foams are pretty much the last word for isolation. The hybrids silicon tips with foam filling between the core and the flange are more convenient if you are taking IEMs off often. I like the Tennmak foams and EarTlogis Mix460.

TENNMAK 12pcs Ultra Strong Memory Foam Eartips
EalTlogis Mix460

I had to edit my post just in case someone thought I meant Comply S400, haha. The big issue I have with foams is the degradation of the material. Additionally, I have some other silicone tips that I know can reach higher decibels with almost no leakage such as one of the Sony's (easy to test just by putting fingers on the eartip hole), but I like the Spinfit more for the sound.

The TRI Clarion tips came today. I have them on my IKKO Obsidian right now. They’re very similar to the Whizzer Easy Tips with a slightly protruding central core or collar at the opening. The umbrella is made of a material that’s very similar to the SednaEarFit MAX. It feels smooth to the touch but becomes ever so slightly clingy once it warms up in your ears. The openings are VERY wide bore. As wide as a bore can get. The Whizzer-like collar has some slot type wave guides on the inside.

How do they sound? They seem a bit brighter than the MAX. I’m noticing the fit more than the sound and they fit me really well. I’m using the 14.0mm L size.

Aww man, that sounds tempting as hell. For the record, one of the sellers in Aliexpress was now selling them in 3 same size, so that makes it even more tempting.

According to Gizaudio the Dunu Talo's tips are something else and they will be sold separately as their own product. Looking forward to those. At the moment the only tips I have coming in are a pair of large Tanchjim tips and the new Fiio HS18s. We'll see how they fit.

Oh, really? Well, I’m going to need a three pack for sure.

Interesting! Dunu is making some strong moves these days. I’ll go check out the video. I’m curious about the Dunu tips now.

I may need to check out other colors of the Whirlwind to see if the build quality differs.
And so I did, after reading posts in the KZ thread on that there is a difference between KZ Whirlwind and Tennmak Whirlwind.
From the official Tennmak store they have an 18pc (ie 9 pairs total; 3 of each color) pack with NO case, for like $8.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/TEN...d-ear-tip-earphone-accessory/32808506339.html

With either that one, or the one with the $2 case you can specify ALL 1 size. So for example, if you only use S tips, you just send them a message and say ALL S. So you will receive 9 pairs of S tips. Or, if you use L and your significant other uses S, tell them you only want those 2 sizes. That's $0.89 per pair, and you don't waste any money on sizes you'll never use. Make sense?

The alternative is ONE set of KZ, with SML for ~$1.20. Well, in the example of you only using S tips, you basically paid $1.50 for 1 pair of tips because you can't use the M or L. And your 1 pair of S tips will fall apart in a few weeks, because the KZ Whirlwind tips are fragile pieces of junk.

The Tennmaks are significantly cheaper per pair, and they last 100xs longer than the KZ version.
And I thought there is no way that can be true. There is no way that there are actually two manufacturers on this identical design. And boy was I wrong.

I got 4 new colors of the Whirlwind from Aliexpress: black-black, black-white, blue-white and red-white. I cannot confirm that I got the KZ Whirlwind, since KZ no longer sells these, but I can confirm that they are different from the black-red Tennmak Whirlwind I got from Amazon. The bore of Tennmak Whirlwind feels slightly more rigid, and the inside of the bore slightly more glossy. The Tennmak Whirlwind bore is about as glossy as the Tanchjim T-APB but the (supposedly) KZ Whirlwind bore is only about as glossy as Whizzer ET100. As a result, Tennmak Whirlwind has noticeably better bass and treble extension.

I guess my next step is to actually look for Tennmak-branded Whirlwind in other colors... sorry wallet
