This thread is showing at top places in google and contains bad information.
HD598 is 50 ohm headphones which need amp with output impedance lower than 6.5ohm
Sound blaster Z has 22 ohm output impedance.
This is bad combo.
if you want to use Sound Blaster Z then get headphones with 176ohm or more impedance.
