Hi all,
I have decided on the ie8's, but the prices for new ones (don't want the fakes headache) from authorized dealers are just too high (Lowest is amazon at 399.95). Do you guys know of any other good authorized dealer?

You can try soundearphones.com and apply 15% off coupon. So the total will be around 340.

Call J&R as they have the below blurb on their page. It looks like they are forced to advertise the price at MSRP but sell for less. In my experience they usually have some of the lowest prices around.

There is also a 10% coupon code, GEICO10, and free shipping.

x2 this will be the best way. Any users know how low they are going there recently?

I bought my pair from out of the country, for nearly half the lowest price in the US.
Try searching for the earphones with google.co.uk or google.de
I bought my earphones from advancedmp3players.co.uk and used "beat the price" option.

$227, :)

Nice choice, these earphones have been my favorite earphones for almost two years now!

This is my new favorite thread. IE8s are out of stock on advancedmp3players.co.uk btw. I was about to call JRs but realized that it's Sunday >_<. And then probably closed Monday as well.

I contacted razordogdeals and he told me that he gets them for $250 from Sennheiser. That said. I may go with the refurbs on buy.com, 75 dollars isn't chump change to me.
