Well, I saw Benjie S5 for 24,83usd and couldn't stop myself from buying it I am very curious to check how it sounds?

 
its pretty damn fine for the price. I really like the UI on it. doesn't quite match the X2 though, and I found the sound got a little grainy at high volumes.

Possibly not the correct thread to ask, but has anyone seen that Benjie has a new model, the T1 .. so far only sighted on Aliexpress, with very bare bones info and 2 pics .. size wise very close to the Fiio X1, 8GB built in, supports 128 from SD. 65$ .. looks interesting
 


I'd love to find out a bit more, but my google fu yielded nothing so far... anyone?

I bought it on the penonaudio website but they shipped it to my paypal address even though I wrote in the site my actual address, which is 15000 km away from there =(
 
I will probably use it after 1 or 2 years when I will be travelling

Wow ... similar situation ... I usually live 8,714 km away from my paypal address and only visit there once a year for a few weeks, hence I do all my ordering and silly spontaneous buys in the summer ... I even paid a bit extra for quicker delivery. Let's see
 
Don't see it on Penonaudio anymore. Would have loved to read some more stats ... Not even that one aliexpress seller calls it by its proper name, it is somehwere hidden in the description / in pictures ...

They make very attractive looking daps, ill give them that. Just refine the sound a bit!

They dap sounds great on low ohm high sensitivity headphone

Found a bit more .. and this sounds really tasty .. op-amp ... DAC!!! ... sounds like the Fiio X3 II a bit (wait, did that one have an op-amp?)  .. still not sure about the button config .. and since we are Benjie fans here .. anyone ever bother trying the 'cheapo' Benjie branded IEMs that come with the players? Those are not as bad as one would think! I was very surprised. 
 


I hope my unit gets here soon .. I paid extra EMS for 5-12 day delivery, now the order page says it will be 22-40 days .. woo hoo ... might do an unbox / review video ...
