All I have to say is that this place lead me to be curious about vinyl and go over to an audiophile co-worker's apartment to listen to his vinyl/speaker rig. Thanks to that, I had to get a speaker rig and, more painfully, move to a new apartment to accomodate said speaker rig!

Wow. At least my curse isn't this bad, and I will never venture into the world of vinyl....hopefully.

Started Head-Fi in the fall of 2001 with a Senn HD-565 and Beyer DT-231.

Since then...

Bought Creek OBH-11, sold Beyer 231
Bought Ety ER6
HD565 died, bought HD580 (early 2002). Still my main can.
Bought (then fotm) ATH-A100ti (mid 2002), sold a couple months later
Bought Headamp Gilmore Dynamic V2 (early 2003). Still my main amp. (Creek sits in storage)
Bought Senn HD201 (last week) - fun can!

Getting the Gilmore Dynamic V2 and HD580 largely sated my head-fi appetite. Or more accurately, I picked up another habit that took my wallet's attention away from head-fi - photography.

lol In 6 months i've gone to almost no audio equipment at all to what I have in my sig. Plus in the near future I will be upgrading my source to a Modded Denon DVD-3910. Also thanks to the south florida meet 2 weeks ago I am probably going to pick up a second job and work damn near 70 hours a week just so I can afford the R10s. Thanks head-fi.
