Admire the beard, ignore the scary creature underneath it. This is ~ 1 month, grows like a weed my beard does. I fully intend to let it go until spring. I loath shaving.

The beard had to (temporarily) come off for a lip articulation and cheek expansion speech study.

But I had some fun getting there...

I envy your full, thick beards. I can only pull off a medium long stubble @ age 28 *weep*

Wow, there are some great beards here. This year I'm takin part in No Shave November so after a few more weeks we'll see how many random cheek hairs I get to go with my surprisingly good "Adult Star" mustache

When I try to celebrate Beardvember I always wind up depressed. I can barely get muttonchops and no 'stache/beard at all

Here are some inspiring portraits for any aspiring beard-growers though:

I'm starting mine again, now that the experiment I had to participate in is over. Week and a half in. Itchy.

I wish I could grow mine out like that. I would be shunned around here though for doing so.

Here's one from January this year, it's been shaved off a number of times but it's almost back to the length in the picture;

I have to shave it off in a couple of weeks, unfortunately, but I'll probably bring it back straightaway, and maybe even go all the way through the winter from that point.

Here's a pic from several years ago, at about 4 or 5 months, to set the mood:

Nothing like a healthy face-forest to chase away the winter blues, eh?

Post your manly man-mug moss, and be proud.

Nice. I can't get mine that long because the gf gets angry after about 1m. Sad, but I have to bend to her will about some things as long as she doesn't make a fuss about the ~$2k in headphone gear that I gain every year.

Also, we need to have another mid march mid illinois meet this year.
