Hello I have the AD700 while they are amazing for games they lack alot of bass for the music I listen to. My budget is >300. I play FPS games casually so not to picky on the sound direction but I want them clear enough to hear someone approaching. Dont need to be so detailed where I can shoot through walls but enough so I can anticipate if someone is around the corner or not.

These are the music I listen to, I want to be able to hear the 'doofs' especcialy in the trap genre basically I am after logitech speakers in headphones ahahha

Looking at the Beyer DT770 PRO there seems to be an 80ohm and a 250ohm variant. Are there any diffrence between them apart from needing headphone amps?

Heya,

Nope. Just the impedances are different for matching best to an amplifier (higher impedance needs more voltage, less current, so some amps are ideal for this, like OTL tube amps; lower impedance requires less voltage, but generally might need more current, which is more along the lines of solid state amplifiers; note that solid state amplifiers are fine for high impedance as well. The limitation is mainly with OTL tube amps actually).

Very best,

Ahh I see. I have been doing so research on the Ultrasone's and found I can get the Pro 2900 and Pro 900 at practically the same prices? What would be the better choice?
