I think he said 27 C ( I could be wrong). I would think he meant ambient temp.

Active cooling is good if executed well........I hope they can source better (quieter but still move a decent CFM) fans for the amp.

There is nothing wrong with active cooling. In theory it does not sound that great running active fans in headphone amp. Ideally you dont want fans in the amp. But in the real world, running silent fans in the amp and using isolation feets to further absorb vibration. I dont think there is an issue with it al all. To top it off Tube dampers!

Gentleman, I just discovered this MK VI Balanced amp and felt in love with its look ! Gorgeous design !

One question thought: does it offer a silent background, even with some very efficient headphone ? I have a RWA tube amp and I hear annoying HISSSSS with my Fostex TH900 recabled balanced ! I hate HISSS and will get rid of my RWA tube amp for this reason.

And has someone tested it with some TH900 ?
