Aune S17 pro

Aune says in the user manual to never ever connect two headphones simultaneously. Maybe you've done that before and that's the reason of the issue?
Thanks for the heads up. "Never" is a strong statement. I connect the 2nd one (never before) just to see if that would change/eliminate the noise and it did. But would not use that method as a "work around" until double check the user manual.
Another reason to read the user manual.
----

Just read the user manual. Where does it say to never connect two headphones simultaneously?
I'm reading the English version.

Already tested it... somewhat.... it brought the temps from 58 to 46 in about an hour or so, was only preamping my active speakers, low gain, 100ma mode.

As it is, if it can bring down temps about 12 degrees or so, it should be more than enough to keep it from reaching 69, probably, will still have to test it with the most problematic of my headphones... the koss kph40s lol!!!!

My S17 Pro arrived today. Putting it through it's paces.
So far, so good.
Maxxed out @ 56 with my Clear.
61 with my Beyerdynamic DT880 600Ω after 2.5 hours.
Letting it run overnight with the Beyer and will keep y'all posted.

Clear's sound great on this amp, just be careful because you can definitively clip those drivers on this amp... ask me how I know lol!

I finally received my custom DT880s from Custom Cans in the UK a couple of days ago, been listening to them on a off, wondering if you have recommendations for EQing those because the sibilance with some vocalist can be a little bit too much for my ears, the only EQing I've done is a low shelf at 85hz to bring up the subbass a little bit more, but not sure what can I do about the high mids/treble with this cans.

Sorry. I don't use EQ.

Night 2 with this beast. I am really digging it, tbh.
Listening for several hours with my HE6SE v1.
Temps stabilized at 51.

My Burson 3XP could power them but I always felt that it was not allowing the HE6SE to reach it's full potential.
It got loud enough but felt like the dynamics weren't what they should be.
And my assumption seems to have been correct; the S17 Pro handles the HE6SE with aplomb.
Bass sounds tight, textured and controlled. Dynamics are bold and intense [in a good way].
So far, so very, very good.
Oh, and it plays nicely with the IEMs I have tried with it as well.
:relaxed:

I am a bit worried about temps come Summertime, but we shall see...

Probably my biggest concern long term is not being able to turn the screen off.
Maybe they can roll that out through a firmware update?

Anyways, this amp punches WAY above it's price-point, IMHO.

My other Burson 3XP could power them but I always felt that it was struggling a bit and not allowing the HE6SE to spread it's wings.

How hot does it get where you live and do you have air conditioning?, because if the S17's temps are stabilizing for you at 51, you still have 18 degrees left of headroom so maybe you don't need to do anything crazy yet like some of us here in order to get the temps under control even when summer hits you, but we'll see I guess.

I don't have central heating or AC here. It is cold chilly outside [around 12C] and I have a heater in my room.
It gets pretty hot where I live [Southeastern USA] in the summer.
I am using a cheap laptop cooler underneath the S17 as well.
