the only things i dont like about the aune are

-the limited character numbers, meaning i had to rename (shorten) some tracknames to make them show up, and

-the lack of playlists. especially when favourites is limited to 400 tracks (and doesnt work for me anymore anyway weirdly - no one else confirmed this was the case for them)

would have been perfect with those, oh and better battery life

I still have a problem with my SD Card. The 3rd time since Nov 23 I had to format the card. It is a 1TB Samsung SD-card. I thought a good one. But please give me an advice, if you use another one without any problems.

i use an integral 256gb card with no issues. well on 1.074 i had many issues with it both freezing or not reading the card at all. i downgraded to 1.07 (the version on the aune site) and its been rock solid

on the sd card i have the files like this

sd card > artist (folder) > albums (folder) > tracks (files)

I just wanted to tell you, that my M1P again couldn't read my sd-card. I formatted it and copied my whole library in it... for the 3rd time. After that I put it in my player, started it and listened to the first song. Then I skipped to the next song and everything started again. The player couldn't read the card.
I remembered someone here in the forum, that he downgraded the firmware. I put 1.65 on another SD-card and formatted the DAP. After that I put it my "old" card with my library on it... and guess what? Everything works now. So to everyone who has problems with the SD-card... go back to 1.65.

@AuneAudio Perhaps you could fix this problem with a new firmware update? I was on the most recent one.

I had the same problem. Reboot - reading sd-card -reboot- … downgrading solved the problem.

It is me again. I’m relaxing in Egypt right now and my card is not readable… again. I really thought a SanDisk is a good card. So either the card is bad or the player. The only thing I can say is that no other dap before had problems with my card. So I would try 1.07 if I can get it. otherwise I will sell the player.

1.07 solved my problems, if not maybe you have a bad card or needs formatting. thats happened with me and a sony 306 where my player kept resetting the library. a full format fixed it.

Genres and sub-genres specific folders and Artists inside of them and Albums under artists. That way I can navigate faster the file manager in offline DAPs like M1p and DTR1+

Maybe a card type that the device doesn't like.

I've a similar issue with my M1p, It reads every SD-Card I have except 1. I really don't know the reason behind it. It is just not working in this DAP and working flawless in my other DAPs
