These are great portable cans. I'm using them with my Dragonfly Cobalt and the sound quality is excellent. The earpads do warmup your ears after long listening sessions. Everything else about them is fine. They are lightweight, bass is weighty and textured. Vocals are clear and slightly forward. Treble has good clarity and presence. All are nice attributes and what you want in a set of quality portable headphones.

I'm toting them around in a GoCase, I had sitting around that I've seen another head-fier using and it works out nicely. I just wish I didn't have to connect/disconnect the cables every time I wanted to store them.

I have that same case, but I've now found a better case for the WP900 and have since relegated that one for my MSR7B. It's this:

It has the advantage of keeping the cups apart and is slightly larger on the inside. The cable wallet thingy is also a bit larger. Details here.

Good find because I like carrying both cables and the DF Cobalt. The bigger pouch would be welcomed. The case itself is still not big enough to keep the cable attached, but the divider in between the ear cups is a nice touch.

Yup, to keep the cables attached you'd probably need a full size case, which would of course add mass volume.

The pouch here is ample enough to store a thick(ish) Forza cable with room for USB dongle (my Lotoo S1 fits with the cable). It also pops out, should you need it to do so.

Nice, that’s plenty of room for the both stock cables.

Thanks mate. Yes, I reviewed the Hemp as well.

hi sorry for tagging you in an old post but I really enjoyed your review of the Hemp and WP900.
I love the Hemp and I’m looking at the Wp900 for closed back duties.
Does the WP900 have tight articulate bass of the hemp or is it more boomy and blurred?
i have the T5p so don’t need another bass monster. Thanks
