I've been looking to getting a nice closed headphone with more bass ( I do like my open Audio Technica ATH-AD700s).
The Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro-80s seem like a good set of cans to get.
But as an Audio Technica fan, I could spend a $40 dollars more for the ATH-A900s.
And I do prefer the feel/comfort of the Audio Technica's over the Beyerdynamic's.
But also I like the idea of trying a differant brand of headphone.
So has anyone tried both headphones and compared the sound?

Decided to first try modifying the JVC HA-RX900s (Dynamat and recabling).

I've not tried the A900, but the Dt770 Pro 80ohm's bass is really flabby, especially without an amp.
