Probably help to reduce the cost in any case. But what happend if there is a problem with shipping ? I expect the shipping company will refund only up to declared value. Who will support the remaining cost, the buyer or audio-gd ?

This is simply.
If the pack lost during shipping, we will shipping another one to customer without any charge, the refund just betweem the shipping company and us , will not bother the customer.

Good to know, Kingwa, thank you!!

Also, I'm listening to one of your Master 8 preamps right now, and I tip my cap to you and all the fine work you've done

That is nice. This make direct purchase attractive.

Yeah, and cheers to Kingwa for his great service!

But in my case, I can buy it as a company, tax free and no botherings at customs office.

Hello everybody,

just a little question,
how is the NFB-28 as Headphone-amplifier versus HEED CanAmp (original one) (sound quality speaking)

I have ERGO 2 Headphones and CanAmp 1 amplifier and want to buy a DAC, and hesitate between:

- NFB-28 with Headphone amp in remplacement of CanAmp
or
- NFB-1.32 (or NFB-1) and then keep the CanAmp

Thank you in advance and nice day everyone.

NFB-28 is a good DAC with a nice headphone amplifier. I can drive easily my HE-6 or my Ergo AMT.
The DAC and the amplifier are very neutral. And it's only 30$ more than NFB-1.32.
For this price, I don't think you can find much better.

Do not use headphones yet.
But MAYBE in the future would be a valid option.
I intend to buy a DAC audio gd model would be NFB28 or NFB1.32
Anyone ever compared the two? which is the best?
My first posting.

I think you need ask this to Kingwa.

I appreciate the answer

but this is a very difficult question to answer for a manufacturer ....

A friend who asked that the kingwa.

Was advised to buy a separate dac + amp.

The justification was that the dac is constantly updated.

The cost of upgrading would be smaller.

because it would be updated only dac.

The amplifier would not be necessary ...

The NFB-28 is a pretty hard unit to beat right now. It's much cheaper than buying an amp+dac separately and allows you to change the DAC later on.

Hi,
I am coming back with my previous post.

So still very interested how compare dedicated headphone-amp HEED CANAMP versus headphone-amp part of NFB-28 ?

Thanks in advance and a nice day everybody.

Honestly for 680$, I don't think you can find something better.
I am not a Audio-GD seller. I sold my NFB-28 last week, because i wanted something with DSD support.

If you are looking for a neutral amp/dac NFB-28 is good choice. The low are very dry with good impact, mid/high cleare with no warmth.
And keep in your mind, if one day you go for a low impedance headphone, NFB-28 will able to drive them probably not HEED CANAMP.

Thanks a lot kazcou for your advices.

I will probably end wtth this choice (NFB-28

However I am still undecided, because as I have already headphone amp (CanAmp) and I don't need the preamp, I can have for the quite same price the NFB-32 or NFB-28.

Is the DAC of NFB-28 similar to NFB-32 ?
