Well 9/19 and 9/20 are public holidays in China and I suspect earliest they respond to anything would be next Monday. Doesn't help to have a super typhoon (maybe strongest in decades) approaching Guangdong province and likely to hit by Monday....

Well that is good to know, and oh crap... hope that doesn't  some how ruin the production of his amp

Unfortunately, your timing is a little bit out. Second most important holiday of the year there after the Chinese New Year. Both my parents are currently living in China and they love this one with everybody getting/sharing moon cakes. They are missing the family though!

I opted for nfb28. It has a larger R-transformer as well as analog inputs to allow its amp section used with out DACs.

Didn't get to compare to 10.33 or 32 but the nfb28 pairs really well with my hd800 and lcd3 (both balanced)

I believe the 10.33 has the same larger R-transformer as the NFB-28.

The only differences I could see are:

1. DAC (dual WM8741 vs. ES9108)
2. NFB-28 has analog inputs to use as a headphone amp from an analog stage.
3. NFB-10.33 has dual balance XLR/RCA outputs (perhaps better for a multi-amp output stage).

So it is a DAC question for the most part.

10.33 appears to have the transformer of 10.32 and 10ES2 (otherwise Audio gd would note that as a difference between 10.32 & 10.33), NFB-28 has larger transformer

Oh...I see. I just saw that the 10.33 had a R transformer and assumed it was the same. I didn't know it was smaller than the NFB-28. Looks like different caps too.

Some good new for u guys, well good or bad

but I'm getting a 10ES2 my self, and I was wondering... "maybe I should have gotten the NFB 28] well after spending some time at the HE 6 thread... a good number of them feel the Nfb 28 and nfb 10es2 both do a great job of driving the he 6 BUT, there are other $500 amps that do a much better job

meaning, the extra power of the NFB 28 doesn't seem like enough for ME to warrant the upgrade. I'll stick with the 10ES2 and when I need more power, I'll snatch up one of the Master Series Amps and Dacs... that can shove 7w into 50... which I assume is the only "power" upgrade there is... till you get into his Speaker amps

so the nfb 28 at $750 vs Master 8 $1500 and Ref 5.32 Dac $900 so $2500 for an upgrade to the NFB 28 it seems... so yea I'll save $200 now and stick with the ES2, WHICH btw mine has hit America :D wonder when it will get to me ^^

I don't think there is anyone who has the NFB-28 and HE-6? The NFB-28 is still really new. The NFB-10 is barely at the threshold for driving the HE-6. I'd say with maxed out volume and gain high quality recordings are definitely not loud enough.
