Pad rolling what's that?.

Something I am confused about when I use Stereo I am using the EQ I have loaded onto the headset But something confuses me when I use Atmos. It gives me the option to select an EQ on the atmos App. Would using this override the EQ on my headset?. if yes then what do i do about the EQ loaded onto my headset while using Atmos?.

if you use the atmos EQ, i would set it to flat on the audeze HQ app; you only want to utilize one EQ at a time. so either don't set the atmos EQ (or set it flat if possible), then utilize the HQ eq settings you want.

Edit - disregard the below, I was under the impression we could have hi-res wirelessly on penrose, but that is not the case.

Hello gang. Would anyone confirm for me if the Penrose on PC has options for spatial sound with 24bit resolution active? With my orbit S I am unable to utilize spatial sound options on the PC in hi res mode, and I wonder if it will be the same for the Penrose.
The Spatial audio on PC for Penrose is handled by the software (Atmos, DTS-X or Waves Nx) and sent to the headphone in stereo. There is no inbuilt 3D audio processing in penrose

These are two independent options. Atmos app EQ would apply during Atmos processing. Then the signal is sent tot he headphone and the Headphone EQ if enabled, gets applied inside the headphone. You will have cumulative effect of two EQs which might get confusing. So it might be easier to just use one.

I've asked a few times now, but my posts must have been missed, but can I update firmware via the Android app? I cannot see fw version or the option to update them. Thanks.
We will add this in the next release of the Android App.

play off the term “tube rolling” where you try different ear pads instead of valve tubes
I've just ordered some gel earpads I am curious as to how easy to put on them are I just watched a video from Dekoni replacing the mobius ones It seems quite fiddly having the stick the earpad on. Just wondering if this is what I will have to do which has me worried If I will do it wrong. I only have one good hand so performing anything which is quite technical might present a problem. Been trying to find a video on it specifically about the penrose.valve tube is that the plastic ring?

They snap off and snap on. The color rings come off with the pads
