Did you try hi res mode?

Yup. I cycled through them all. Undecided which I prefer but possibly leaning towards HiRes Mode.
Edit: I guess I'm saying you can't really expect ~ $8K worth of gear's performance from a $400 retail HP. I can still enjoy music on these and their niche for me is especially wireless. 3D is a novelty. These are still brand new for me. It will be a while to explore the features and RTFM.

Guys if you're testing the Mobius with music make sure
1) its in high-res mode by holding down the microphone volume control.
2) choose the Music EQ preset by clicking and spinning the microphone volume control.

Makes a massive difference.

Mine was hanging around Prarie and then showed up today. Tracking info is worthless.

Posting here to say that dpd has just delivered my mobius to my door in the Netherlands. It seems the trip through Azerbaijan has paid off since I had to pay NO taxes or duties whatsoever. I will not be posting impressions since I'm definitely not qualified to do so.

I signed up for DHL shipping notification only for when it gets delivered. Received an email from them a few hours ago saying it did. Checked USPS and they show it has delivered too. Can't check personally because it was delivered to my old residence and it's late there. Am excited to try them after they're mailed to me again!

Hi GalaxyMaster, I live in the NL too. Did you get any tracking notification by email? I got a SFC tracking number from Audeze Customer Support, but nothing from SFC nor from any other shipping agengy.

Ugh, I got one of the hissing models. The hissing is very audible, even during playback I can still hear it. I suppose it's time to contact Audeze.

While using the mobius in 7.1ch, if I turn off 3d head tracking, does it also turn off hrtf? 2ch and hi-res 2ch do not support 3d head tracking or hrtf, am I right?

I still have a very very audible hiss. Even my boyfriend who wears cheap IEMs and $20 over ears who insists he can't tell the difference with my other high end cans can immediately hear it. After waiting so long for these, I'm dreading having to send them back. Super disappointed.

@Audeze What steps do I take from here to remedy this?

EDIT: It's present over USB and Bluetooth at equal volumes. It's most pronounced when listening at lower volumes but even approaching 50% it's audible. 3D on or off doesn't matter. 8 channel, 2 channel, hires... Doesn't matter. That dreaded hiss is EXTREMELY audible. I thought the several week delay was to fix this issue? Seems I've waited for no reason.

EDIT #2: It starts fading above 55%. This however is too high for my night time listening while laying in bed with my partner.
