Audeze LCD-X

Heh you guys should try LCD4z. Might well be thinkin' twice before jumping on the HD800S. No kidding here. These things are sick.
Much as I have loved the LCD-X, the 4z handily supersedes the X by several levels. Oh and BTW they are easily driven w/o the huge amp upgrade.
So there's that... !=^)

How are the 4z different? I made a big jump from my initial headphones to the LCD-X so I am curious how the 4z stack up in the realm of Audeze and the like.

More clean, airy, detailed presentation with tighter bass from deepest lows up thru the liquid mids and then into the magical upper mid / treble region. I wish I had the chance to audition the
Stax 007 / 009 to draw my own comparisons -but- from extensive reviews and reading about those phones, I suspect the 4z to an extent would replicate that kind of performance.
For whatever that is worth. @Rhamnetin might come on here to expound upon that hopefully.

These are just my impressions, and it does seem the bass region is in fact opening up more with more hours. Or maybe just brain acclimatization? Whatever I am more amazed each time
I listen to these headphones. More reports after a couple hundred hours on these fine instruments.

Thanks! I think I might have got a little exuberant with the camera but have not done much photography lately so it was like opening the floodgates I guess.
BUT these headphones are hands down the absolute best sounding headphones I have ever heard. Period. Highly recommend an audition for prospective buyer if at all possible.
