Audeze LCD i4 TOTL In-Ear Monitor Discussion

Got reveal VST working system wide with Equalizer APO 1.2.1 without issues.

The installation was finicky, but only because I didn't read the manual and didn't realize that any user-created config file (in my case I created a "LCD-i4.txt" config file, with the Reveal plugin) needs to be added to the main "config.txt" as an "include". I was scratching my head as to why changing the Reveal settings had absolutely no effect.

Also, don't check "auto apply", as it will crash the plugin when making changes.

It's been working flawlessly ever since.

Well it appears that my happiness was short lived. Earlier today my i4s got run over and now I'm depressed.

I had them for a few weeks, I don't really know how to feel or what to do now.

Does your credit card have 90 day accident protection?

Hi everyone,

I finally got my Cipher BT cable direct from Audeze. I use the Audeze HQ app on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and iPad Pro and get an error message.

The app doesn't seem to be recognising the cable at all: "unable to get firmware key"

Anyone come across this issue before? @Audeze

It should be instant recognition. However, I vaguely remember something about iOS needing permission for external USB devices if your iPhone has been on and unlocked for I think an hour. Maybe that is the problem.

I was referring to the Cipher Bluetooth. Audeze got back to me in the meantime, apparently the BT cable is not meant to be recognised by the app anyway.

Do you have home insurance?

My home insurance has a £2500 accidental damage to personal items that get stolen or damaged away form the house. I claimed on it once years ago for the Ibasso DX100 when I dropped it, insurance paid for a new one with no real issue.
