First time using the LCD-I4+Cipher cable on my iphone. I already downloaded the Audeze HQ app, but what EQ should I put there? I thought there should be a preset option, but I can't find it.....

The preset is already there in the Cipher Cable!

Only make changes in there if you want to modify it.

It has it's own little amp and dsp built in. So, it is designed to work with the i4 (if you have the i4 version.)

The Reveal plugin is suppose to be the same tuning or similar.

No. Eminent is correct. This cypher cable only works for the i3 and i4 and has the eq+ burned in

Just checking, is it the correct cipher cable for i4? There’s a different cipher for isine 10/20. If you have the correct cipher cable it doesn’t automatically detect different IEMs. It only works with i4 (and i3). You can’t use it with any other IEM.

It can’t auto detect the IEM. It has a fixed built-in EQ and it is upon the user to make sure we are using the correct cipher cable for the i4. V2 is the correct cipher cable for the i4. You don’t have to use the EQ in the Audeze phone app. You can use it to fine tune it further.
