Nice one!The sensation perfect!
Audeze will repair the LCD5 for me under warranty!
Thank you very much. I will give it a try and compare/contrast with Resolve's.Here it is: https://www.dropbox.com/s/sg2dv96aj5gipk9/Audeze LCD-5.pdf?dl=0
Filter settings are listed out numerically at the bottom of the page. It uses 9 bands.
It does indeed have many useful features. I did try the XLR output for the LCD5 and found it very good. I also liked the volume control and the remote is well laid out. The many EQ profiles you can store is also a nice feature. We have a Weiss 502, and strongly suggest only using the balanced headphone output on the rear panel if you want the best audio quality (it uses a different amp section). And you should consider the Weiss to be much more than an amp/DAC - it has very powerful DSP features and functions more like an "audio toolbox." Besides including all the Reveal Audeze target curves, it has substantial EQ and crossfeed functions and many others. You'll need a browser window to access all the features.
audeze has the best customer service in the industry, I have had some fantastic experiences with audeze customer service which is one reason I have owned so many of their productsNice one!
I agree…. I had purchased the LCD-5 with 6.3mm cable. Last one in stock for a while at my dealer. I reached out to Audeze to see if I could swop out the 6.3mm to Balanced XLR. No issue. Resolved within two weeks. Awesome. Then, just the other day, I receive my replacement new style Headband. Another great service ticked off the list. Audeze have been nothing but exemplary in my books.audeze has the best customer service in the industry, I have had some fantastic experiences with audeze customer service which is one reason I have owned so many of their products
Here's my take on the 5's with some amp pairings:
New headband the same but larger?Just installed the new headband. Definitely more comfortable than the original.
It looks the same but the pressure points changed for me. The earpads are snugger and it feels like a tight pillow instead of the pressure being on the top of my head.New headband the same but larger?
Here's my take on the 5's with some amp pairings:
Same, i think the band itself is a touch "wider" so it doesn't have such a strong clamp force. It no longer pushes against my ears so hard but instead is "snug". love it. I do have to adjust the headband one notch higher than the previous headbands. It looks the same but the pressure points changed for me.
