Just out of curiosity, what does exclusive mode mean?

Anybody know of a music program(or specific setting) that normalizes the volume level of the music files? Puts them all in the same gain level?
It means you won’t hear sound from any other application on your computer while JRiver is open. JR has exclusive acceee to your audio output.

My ears must be crazy! Ive always read that the Fostex T50RPmk3 really misses some bass (which i never agreed with when i first heard them). Now Ive also read the LCD2-C probably got one of the best headphone bass you can have on this planet. Still i think the T50RPmk3 got more bass, also more punch. The LCD2-C got it way more under control and is always clean but still i cant believe my ears. Maybe i just got a crazzy modded pair - i bought the T50RPmk3 as a warehouse deal :p Anyone can chime in?

Anyone have this and the LCD3 fazor? Are they too similar to own both, or would they make a reasonable companion?
They are NOT that similar at all. LCD-3f much more laid back while 2C more forward and punchy. LCD 3f is a bit more refined and smooth and bass goes deeper but 2c more punchy. I still prefer my lcd3 but some friends of mine prefer my Lcd2C more. I can’t argue with that.

Is audeze driver variation still a big thing? I heard comments from friends who both own the 2c and them comparing them and they sounding different.

Indeed, I saw their measurements are different from unit to unit. Probably, it won't be a good idea to buy it in a used market, as bad ones are likely to be circulated from hand to hand. I would listen to it first in a dealer shop, or buy it directly to return in the case you got a bad unit.

Had a listen to these today, quite impressed with the more dynamic sound as compared to the LCD3. Prefer the LCD3 but this is a nice difference.

One thing I found, the clamp force was a fair bit higher on the LCD2c, seemed a lot more sturdy on my head. Have the carbon fibre headband on my LCD3. Is this typical of the metal suspension headband as opposed fhe carbon?

I would love to compare these to the x and the 3. If i get a chance i will rent a pair of the x and 3 from cableco. I keep wondering about upgrading from my lcd2c to a higher level lcd.
