This is not just directed at you, and you can post anything you want. I'm just asking the group in general if this thread is really needed anymore. Are there still shipping delays, where it's helpful to know when someone ordered and how long it took to get them? If there are, then I apologize.

HA (to your point made a year ago), I did not know or forgot this was the reason for the thread either.
Otoh, it's cool - and could be useful too - to have a small public record of head-fI owners' history with a particular pair. Might be useful to a buyer, for example.

Well now... Don't know from original intent, but I've always assumed that I had rev.2 headphones, since I ordered my LCD-2s directly from Audeze just a month or so (July 14, 2011) after the announced changeover. But now with a consecutive serial no. (5312734) to a rev. 1 headset, I'm now wondering if I bought into a rev. 1 back inventory, and own rev. 1 headphones instead of rev. 2.

From various discussions in other threads, only way is to ask audeze about your specific s/n.

Now that you've brought it up that is true, but there are not many of those around as Audeze quickly updated there foam headbands rev.2's to leather headbands because people kept moaning for a leather headband. Consequently, this is also the batch that had a lot of wood cracking near the cable area. But as I said rev.1's are distinguished by there foam headbands and the extra Audio Research Labs words on the grills.

anyone questioning what "revision" they have can contact Audeze directly. provide your serial number and they will tell you exactly what you have.
