Even though I much prefer Pelican cases, the SKB is probably more than adequate for the LCD2.  Pretty cool idea really.

I'd prefer it were Pelican too. My family's business has used them for years, that and their reliability has biased me towards them. I might buy a pelican 1300 just because and then use the SKB for something else.

Arrived in perfect condition, sorry for the crappy cellphone photo. It's an Audiolab 8200CD > Musical Fidelity M1 HPA > LCD-2
 
Too early for impressions after a 5-minute listen, but what I heard off the bat was favourable to say the least. The M1 HPA doesn't feel like it's breaking a sweat to drive them. I'll report more when I've had a good sitdown with them.

I sit here listening to the LCD-2 and Luther Allison.  I need to be doing other things but my mouth is open, I hate that expression but my mouth actually is or was until I noticed, but I am amazed. I have the Twag V2, the new optical cable of 13,000 fibers, Twag IC and I can't believe the sound. It portrays a much larger and dimensional sound stage than before and I was already happy. The slam and 3D is so good, I am just amazed. Such texture and fluidity to the sound. Good stuff.

I just connected my LCD-2s for the first time earlier today.  The transparency and detail are there in spades...wow.  Very smooth.  My Grace M902 isn't doing it justice, though, I think.  There's just something missing in the lower mids on down, no oomph.  *sigh*  I love this amp/DAC, too.  What are you folks using with yours?  I'm reading good things about the Violectrics but I haven't been amp shopping in years.

How do they ship the phones? I remembered last time I checked was Fedex, not sure about now.
Do they mark it as gift?

No, nothing weird, arrived one day before scheduled delivery all in perfect shape. No time for extended listening yet but these phones show promise...
They are NOT fatiguing like the other( not talking about the HE60 or O2 here but the others) cans I had
 
Even think Im gonna try a couple of different cables on these, although I dont expect much differences from this. Did you trying anything else but the Norse?
