If it's the new ADZ5 cable you're talking about then please post your impressions.

Well, it's thinner, lighter and more flexible. I'm listening through it now and don't notic a big sonic difference, but will need to A-B to really get a feel for that.

The new cable is a good cable. Very light and flexible and very clean. It is a major upgrade over the old cable and It so much lighter.

You'll have to see if it's cheaper to get the wooden box and order the Pelican cade on it's own]r since it is cheaper (less than $40). And if you're ever on a boat The pelican case is waterproof and it floats, so if you're ever doing dishes and the fall into the sink the will stand the test of time and will be able to work for you

Too early and too many variables...new unburned-in amp, new unburned-in cable. Give me a week or 2.

I just watched a movie with my LCD-2 and my neck feels like I just got in a car accident after seeing a metal band in concert.

I put on my LCD-1 instead today, and it's really very light compared to the LCD-2. The only drawback is it's somewhat bass light too compared to the LCD-2.

I use my LCD-2 strictly for music, for movies I use my T50RP which I consider good enough for movie audio materials and is much more comfortable to wear on a long stretch non-stop.

Mmmm I use my HD 800 exclusively while studying because the LCD-2 caused a lot of neck pain... my posture is far from the best but it really was not doable... If you are in a lazyboy or something should be fine.
