Isn't that cable more expensive than the isines? I paid $150 for my isine10's

Thank you for your reply. It sound like maybe the Nickel and the iSine aren’t a good combo. I had thought maybe the power available with the nickel would suit the iSines. Have you tried using the nickel together with the zx2? I have both UAPP and neutron on the zx2 and find neutron to be the better of the two on ZX2. You may want to give it a try, if you haven’t already.

Finally tested the Nickle and the ZX2 it was a surprising improvement to the detail I feel like it was much more noticeable than the ES100 and the Nickle. Just thought I would share with you

Hi,

You mentioned the third printed style. Which one are you actually using? Which link? I would like to take a look. TIA

Any changes in you eq? What are you currently using. I have still been using your eq, and also use the cipher cable with I devices.

Was thinking of starting an Audeze EQ thread for people to share,, I have KManns and Brainiac for UAPP

This would be great. All the stuff I use (ES100 and Sony ZX300 mainly) is 10 band EQ. Someone posted a link several pages back to 10 band settings and they are the best I've tried to date with the iSine 20s.

I'm using Moon Audio iSine silver dragon cable. No EQ applied.
I'm not very impressed with Audeze house sound.
The LX / 10 / 20 pretty much require some EQ to sound their best, this is def not the Audeze house sound.

How would you EQ them? Honestly, iSine 10 sounds very fake 3D. It tries to get that 'wide soundstage' which they advertise but in such a non-musical way.
It's true it sounds wide but it doesn't sound very legit.

I prefer sound of HD800, H650, SRH1840. Sony N3AP and Etymotic ER4SR are close to them.

Not every headphone works for everyone. Since you already have viable options, sell your iSines and move on.

Did your iSines come with a cipher cable? If you have an Apple device, you can use the cipher cable (and it's accompanying app) to eq the iSines to your personal sound preference. If you're on Android, you can use a music player app with a built-in eq (USB Audio Player Pro, Poweramp, Neutron, etc) to adjust the sound to your preferences.

Unfortunately, it didn't. It came with standard 3.5mm audio cable and I bought Moon Audio silver dragon isine cable.

I’d say you’re probably past the point of no return here given your sentiment about these. The only way to really enjoy them is
1) use the audeze EQ curve: either via a Cipher cable or the Audeze Reveal Plugin
2) expect them to be more like a portable open back than a traditional iem

I’m highly confident that the people who love them are doing both & likely have a closed IEM in their stable to compliment the isine use cases.

I just started a thread where i am pooling everyone's EQ settings, KMann's V1 is what he recommends for the 10's
