Is it unpleasant to you because of the added brightness? It just happens to be a nice match for my current system which is why I don't mind the extra brightness. I tried Naive before and it bothered me too used with a different rig. Anyway, as far as just the crossfeed is concerned(not the tonality side effect), both plugins are actually pretty similar when sliders are adjusted to have the same amount of effect.

yes, the default naive sounds very supportive to the brain...but I think I still prefer it w/ the 3 min. settings. too bad they keep crackling

I'll look for an alternative today, such as the 4Front : http://www.yohng.com/goodies/headphonesvst.zip

tried the 4front a long time ago. maybe 2004/2005. It zuuuucked. Wonder how it is today if its been updated.

Thats weird that you hear crackling on the naive. I don't have that problem with mine.

well, I'm quite crazy about the Ennio Morricone OST's....and they sound really mono w/ the stock naive settings.

I dunno why the damn thing crackles when I set them to the minimum....anyway, I will look into VST plugins. that's the pinnacle of audio plugins

PS: if I set the naive settings to one third, it seems to be a good in-between...I hope it won't crackle.

the other plugin is really good for me. wow the extra bass is also a perfect match with the ad900s while the crossfeed is about the same as the naive. Love it so far!

the second one is more transparent I think, ideally I want a crossfeed plugin that you can't ABX...I'm aiming at a subliminal DSP to keep my neurons happy. nothing more.
