Right now I have the Audio-Technica ATH-M50's and I'm looking to upscale to something under $300. The M50's don't have have enough bass for me and I found these 3 headphones to be pretty competitive.

I mainly listen to bassy electronic/dubstep, rap, pop, and some chill/dreamy electronic/liquid dubstep. Feel free to suggest any other headphones.

Try out the Ultrasone HFI-580, they have great bass or the Denon AH-D2000.  The HFI-580 are in a great price range starting at 150 retail price, but you can also try the Beyer DT770 for around the same price depending on the Ohms.

The MDR will be the most neutral of the three, but from reports it still has good lows, so you wont feel like its missing. Both the pro700 and denon d1100 both have nice low end signatures. The d1100s will have a bit more then the pro700s. Personally I would go for the MDRs but I must say that partly because of how they look, but also the pro70 and mdr both have detachable cables, which I find to be a big plus for me. So I would say pro700 of you want a little more bass, or the mdr if you want something a bit more neutral. ( but still good with the lows)

cheers

So... which one did you choose then?
I'm also in uncertainty between MDR-1R and AH-D1100......
