I was listening to my Tidal playlist, it always stop after every two songs, anyone having similar issue?

I still experiencing intermittent buffering issue on single track on Tidal online streaming HIFI. No issue on Spotify though.

As mentioned earlier , music stop after end of two tracks in Tidal playlist, need manually touch play button for next song.

1) Is the pre-installed Tidal latest version? How to update to latest firmware ?
2) I download Tidal v.2.30 XAPK file, there are two versions with architecture armeabi-v7a and arm64-v8a, which version is for SE100?

Hope the latest firmware can solve the buffering issue. My WIFI router is just 10m away from where I listen.

Let me answer my own question above. I have successfully installed Tidal ver. 2.30 xpak file (architecture arm64-v8a) .

It is another Tidal app shown in System besides the pre-installed Tidal (ver. 1.8).

Thanks God, no more buffering issue and play/stop problem on my save playlist

Has anyone compared the sound between SE100 and N6ii E01? Both seem to sport the same DAC. I was wondering how do they differ in sound? And which is more enjoyable

Havent heard it but it would bother me that it has no balanced output only 3,5mm phone, so I think it cant really compete with the SE100. The only one that I could imagine would be the Cowon Plenue L. But unfortunately the Cowons can only be used offline (no app support).

I also had this dogmatism, before I met Chord Hugo 2.
The Chord Hugo 2 also lacks a balanced output.
However, the Chord Hugo 2's 3.5mm output quality sound outperforms the SE100's 2.5mm balanced output.
You have to listen and compare.

It's kind of quiet this thread, and would like bring up this thread and seek SE100 owners for their feedback.

Nearly two months own this SE100 and some listening, I enjoy this low-profile AK's sound signature, it is more fun and joyable than my WM1A/1Z, I could hear some hidden layers of sound, different kind of "feel".

The SE100 sounds detailed and rich without beeing too analytical. I also like it's airy big soundstage and intimate mids.

I am impressed with SE100 battery, no leakage when I turn off the unit. Unlike my Sony WM1A/1Z, though they have longer battery life per charge, they do leak when the unit is switched off.

I do not see any latest firmware released lately for SE100, the last was April 2020. @Jason_NYC can chip in hopefully ... (can't tag him).

I recently had the chance to purchase a B-stock SE100 as companion for my SE200 and it took me some time to discover that the SE100 firmware is still lacking some features of the SE200 like sorting artists by "album artist".
It would be really nice to hear if there's something in the make for the SE100? IMHO, sorting by "album artist" is a rather important feature and I'm missing it badly on the SE100.

They've different DACs.
SE100: ESS9038Pro
SE200: ESS9068(2x) and AK4499

I wouldn't say that SQ is different but sound signature is definitely. IMHO both players complement each other. I had the SE100 (B-stock) and the new KANN Alpha for testing and did like the SE100 much better.

Been using the SE100 for more than a year, maybe 2. And the screen is starting to show a line. Its 1 vertical line from top to bottom. Anyone had this happened before? What can I do about it?
