How good is SP2000 paired with Airpods 3? Will it improve the sound of AirPods compared with using merely an iPhone as DAP?

I'm tired of playing with wired headphones nowadays and also DAPs to some extent. Looking for some convenient but superior solutions.

I have trouble with anything paired with the SP200. The bluetooth connection is shaky with AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, and every other TWS I've used. The audio quality is typical, nothing special, and the only reason I use bluetooth is if I'm doing something and don't want to deal with the wires. But the dropouts are horrendous.

I have the same experience, but, even if the connection was good, the SP2000 will not improve the sound of AirPods. I own all iterations of the AirPods, and do not rate their audio quality compared to IEMs. They are fine used in conjunction with my iPhone when listening to music at the gym, making calls, watching videos, etc, but I wouldn't bother using the SP2000 as a source for them IMHO.

Hmm... after updating my SP2K to 1.50 I cannot install the APK installer and reinstall my XAPK-Apple Music app

For me, the combination of Astell&Kern Layla AION with A&ultima SP2000SS is still one of the best.

I tried it and was not impressed. In the end I took the Legend EVO. In my opinion Layla AION only makes sense to change to Oriolus Traillii or UM Mason FS.

SP1K and Kann Alpha here. They sound identical to me. I do like the MQA information display better on the embedded app though.

Tidal by AK is best sounding...but offline files are superior.
