Do You need anything SP2000 doesnt have?

A true R2R DAC with a proprietary AK oversampling digital filter as to keep the AK house sound while improving everything else that’s great with the SP2000

Press and hold the power button for 10 - 12 seconds while the player is turned on until the player shuts itself down. Press the power button again to restart the player.

The new firmware with the SP2000 takes about 1/2 hour of warm up playing back music before it sounds truly amazing. Wish the battery life is a bit longer though since I have to sacrifice 30 minutes of playback on the background before I put on my IEM and experience audio nirvana

No. I just mentioned the firmware since I updated mine. If you look at my previous posts in this thread, I actually NEVER turn off the SP2000 to keep that sound without the warmup time needed

I totally agree to what you've experienced. I don't know if it's the firmware or whatever. But the sp2k sounds pretty sorted post some time of warmup. Playing cold isn't as smooth and spacious I personally felt.

If you use car mode, double tap works…never understood why it wasn’t implemented system wide.
