Why no signature? I can say that chord signature is one of the most identical to the notation of idea.
I bet Hugo2TT and Mscaler is far better than the big boy sony I you have knowledge and experience to explore their full potential.

If you like TT2/Mscaler and Chord signature, more power to you. I was just expressing my personal preference and they do not meant to be forced on everyone.

I have seen first pictures of my SP2000Cu which I will get on weekend, as well as of an SP1000Cu amp. Both show already first signs of oxidation. So it seems that A&K fuc*ed up again, such as with AK380Cu. I thought A&K has learned how to seal copper properly with SP1000Cu, but SP2000Cu seems to be a mess again. If I had known this, I would not have ordered a Cu unit. Those about to order an SP2000Cu or SP1000Cu amp, be warned!

Rubbing the SP1000Cu with a cloth, the cloth stays clean. Cleaning the SP2000Cu, the cloth immediately becomes black. Obviously, Copper has been rubbed off. What is the reason for the difference? It seems that there is no protective layer at all!

@A&K officials: How could this happan again? How can users prevent further oxidation without removing the protective layer completely? Is there a protective layer at all or has it been "forgotten" completely?

Putting my money where my mouth is, just ordered the SP2000 CU. I am a fanboy of nobody even after my purchase so if it doesn’t turn out to be what I said based on my one time audition, I will adjust my impressions but hoping it will maintain my expectations.

I agree, it is your money, I do not see any reason why you should be a fan toward any products. I still don’t understand why there are people like that (FE, Apple or android). When I buy something, it just simply mean that I like the products, period.

Does anyone know how well do the batteries on these A&K players hold up over long-term ownership usage?

Most Lithium-Ion batteries start really degrading after 2 years.
Would it be possible to send the device to A&K to get the battery changed or has anyone attempted that?
I would not want to pay over $3K to get a device that's usable for only 2 years...
