After a few years, replacing the battery can significantly enhance the sound quality due to the low internal resistivity of only 0.17 ohms. Additionally, the new 4200mAh battery extends the usage time, resulting in clearer, punchier, and more dynamic sound.
Perfect Again.

Thanks for sharing! How difficult to open it and close it again like new? Screws or glue?

We need a tutorial on how to replace our own batteries. Can you give us an Idea of how you did it. Very impressive I must say.
The most problem is to open the back plate. The procedure is same with mobilephone.

  • Heating up the edge to warm up the glue.
  • Using suction handle to pull back the plate.
  • After opening, the replacing is easy while it has a dedicated tray and attach to pcb by a plug.

Quick question, I've been trying everything to connect as DAC to my Mac with M2, and cannot. Does anyone have a real solution? Also since I updated to FW 1.53 only Roon Connect works, I cannot use it as DAC, tried in a windows computer too. It stays at "Connecting to media" nothing happens, no sound out, installed 2019 drivers on the windows too. Thanks!

Is there any special kind of USB-C cable needed to use the SP2000 as a DAC?
I have the 1st iteration of the Mac Studio with M1 Max. I can only connect my SP2000 as a DAC using the USB-A ports. I have no joy using the USB-C ports (either Thunderbolt 4 or USB 3).

I just made it work using a "USB 3.2" USB-C to USB-C cable, I didn't know there was a difference with any USB-C cables to be honest but it seems some do "data" and some are more for just charging (power usb-c cable)
