I Don’t think Roon arc would be on the sp2000 though but hopefully it does in the future

It allows access to songs on your NAS remotely, as does Roon ARC. It's not very feature rich (or pretty) compared to ARC but it gets the job done.

I just realized that DS AUDIO (Sinology NAS) no longer works on SP2000. It used before.
That app was really useful to me : my library on the NAS and i could listen to from outside.

I have a few DSF format DSD64 albums (SACD rips) and it plays them fine. I don't have any higher rate files to test.

Here's a question - now that the android Apple Music app offers lossless, is there any advantage at all to sticking with Tidal over Apple Music on an SP2000? (I don't care about offline downloads).

Not exactely like Roon. No tidal from DS audio, But with my SP2000 i could listen to my music stocked on my NAS at home, from anywhere i am, if i have internet.

Try version 3.14.3 for Android 6 support.

Just tried it and it works on my SP1000M. I did reboot after installing, not sure if that's required or not.

Thank you. I got it and it works.
However, I think DSD and everything is transcoded to mp3 or wav.

My is almost 3years battery in balanced is about 6 to 7 hours with my sony ierz1r, also depends on volume and wifi on or off but in SE mode last a bit more

I think double tap to wake screen needs a minimum of android 10 which the sp2000 is not.

Same for me. It is quite a hungry DAP especially using balanced. I get about the same as denis1976. Has been the same since new. I do turn wifi off after checking periodically for updates.
