I had an opportunity to listen on a stainless steel and copper version, they sound the same.. folks saying the sound signature is different is just not true, at least to my ears
yep, exactly right: …”to your ears”.

You had an opportunity to listen to them, and I had an opportunity to owned them at the same time ( including Vegas Gold Limited edition)

Yeah, I've got an Onyx and previously had a Cu. They definitely sound different to my ears. Cu is warmer with more organic mids and smoother treble. Onyx sounds brighter, more analytical and revealing in the treble.

Recently demoed the Traillii. Loved its tonality pair-up with the SP2000Cu with its balance of warmth to counter its technical prowess so that the whole signature doesn’t lean towards being too analytical. Definitely the most holographic/airy/TOTL headphone-like staging I’ve ever heard from an IEM. Still doesn’t beat the Utopia/Susvara out of a exotic 300B SET amp setup, but getting pretty close to that experience for a portable solution

Is there an easy way of moving files between the sd card & internal memory?
Finding it a bit painful as I am not even able to get the sp2k to appear in the file explorer on my 14" MacBook Pro.

The easiest (and fastest) way, I find, is to use Android File Transfer. Transfer from any hard disk or SD card from MBP to SP2K directly. Only trouble is, AFT has not been updated since 2018 and it can be a little finicky. You may have to try a few times before you can establish a good connection. Good luck!

Getting "no android device found"; external usb mode is on as I booted the Mac up while connected to the sp2k.

Like I said, it can be quite finicky. My way is — (1) connect cable to SP2K, then (2) connect the other end to MBP. If AFT doesn’t start up automatically, then manually start up AFT. If it doesn’t recognize the SP2K, disconnect the cable attached to MBP, leave it connected to the SP2K and reconnect to MBP. Sometime I have to restart AFT while connected. Just try changing the connection sequence, I always manage to get it to work eventually.

It is a very poor program for file transfer. I use Commander One instead. Much better. Less frustrating :)

Might have to try Commander One instead. Doing this on my PC and a direct on-device SD card to internal transfer is currently estimated to last abouit 20 hours. lol
