PLEASE tell your Dev update the update asp and take it seriously because I'm tired of using my semi bricked kann. Well what does it mean?

Everytime I turn on my Kann it comes with the screen "Line out" question.


Then on the top bar keep showing Balanced icon even no balanced headphones plugged in! Then Playback don't stop even after unplugging jack!


I was thinking about selling my Kann but now I'll have to sell it as faulty Dap and for even cheaper price which I don't like to do.

Please kindly let them Know.

I have been wanting to buy a Kann but luckily I came across this thread. While I'm still interested, I'd rather not risk it due to all these issues that have been reported and mainly this update issue that created such problems for users. Seriously @astell&kern what the f!?

Well, since the last two updates either bricked the dap, or screwed up and/or failed to bring support for 1tb cards, and there are other issues listed in this thread, I am looking for a repair of the failed update.

If they would finally get good support for 1tb cards I'd be happy with the 2tb capacity. No need for any kind of streaming stuff with that many songs (~50k?) Would just give me more reason to expand my collection/library.

My KANN is getting really hot.After I’ve played it even for a few minutes, it gets so hot I can barely touch it.Is this a battery problem? Am not using a case.

My kann can become very warm if covered but not like that. Sounds like a battery problem to me

If I enter the Kann settings it tells me that there are no new updates.

There was a 1.13 but it was flawed so they pulled pretty quick after release. I ended up with it on mine but like I said, it's flawed. We're waiting for the update to the update that was to update the really bad update that bricked some units.

Maybe then it is for this reason that my Kann tells me that there are NO new updates compared to the previous one. Maybe it will appear to me when the good version of the new update comes out.
