I do have a problem with the KANN. It does not read or show my Kingston 512GB SD Card. The funny thing is, that if i use it with an Micro-SD Adapter in the MicroSD Slot, it works fine and shows all the files. Does anyone know how to fix this? Being able to use my 512GB SD Card without adapters was the main reason to get the KANN.
I had the same problem. I have a Sandisk 512gb card that works fine and the 256gb Kingston SD card is fine to but the Kann does not see the Kingston. I'm using the kingston as a(n expensive) backup of my Sandisk files. Other people have observed the same problem.

Did you format the card in Kann?

I used two brands of 512GB SD in KANN. PNY works fine but not Kingston. I returned Kingston. I think the problem is Kingston not KANN since Sandisk and PNY both works fine with KANN.

I put a 256 Samsung as micro SD and 512 SanDisc in SD. Formatted both in Kann and. Both worked fine. The free 256SD they included didn't work at all. There were weird symbols that I kept erasing, but they kept coming back.

Kann's own manual did mention that SanDisk and transcend are the recommended. I remember now, sometime ago, even with my old v20, not every sd card work flawlessly. SanDisk is always guaranteed to work everywhere though.

My 256GB Sandisk Extreme full size SD and Samsung Evo+ micro SD cards had issues (not detecting, or showing "damaged SD Card" error after a reboot), even the micro SD that works fine on my AK240 and Plenue S didn't work.

Since I formatted those cards in KANN itself, I never saw the errors anymore. I want to try a 512GB card but they're too expensive...

Overall I'm pretty happy with the KANN, but it a bit too big for me to carry around casually compared to my Plenue or AK240.
