It fit in my shirt pocket, both problem. I wear two pocket shirts from Duluth Trading. They work great for EDC audio.

Even a Duluth shirt might have trouble holding up under the CUBE.
Interesting enough, I don't find the size too overwhelming. I like the fact that it has some heft, it sits well on the desk and I have been walking all around the house this evening listening to the planar Sendy Audio Aiva and the pairing is super.
On the KANN it was possible to use the SE and the balanced output and the same time. From this diagram it seems that the CUBE also has the needed circuitry for this function. However, when I plug in the SE, the balanced output is muted. Is there any settings somewhere that I missed? One important point is, looking at this diagram we can see that there is no volume control on the XLR output. So if you happen to connect your Cube directly to an active speaker system without volume control (like studio monitors), you might blow them. Or at least make sure to start from the volume completely turned down:

Love the case. It's nice and finally nice to hold in your hand.
Is that the $179 case? Also, you hear hiss with the Solaris through the SE output? I am marveling at the fact that the floor is black, especially given the power output.Love the case. It's nice and finally nice to hold in your hand.

Hear hiss on both 3.5 and 2.5 balanced. The 3.5 isn't bad and honestly I don't bother using the IEMatch with the 3.5 SE. The 2.5 balance I use the IEMatch for quieter songs. I am sensitive to hiss. and yes its the A$K made case for the Cube.

Source, environment, and time of the day dependent. Currently listening to them at 65 on low gain balanced. With the IEMatch 2.5 balance switch on high, I put it at 95 on low gain. What volume do you need find yourself listening to in Low Gain with the Solaris?

Take it out for say three hours and see how that feels.Interesting enough, I don't find the size too overwhelming. What's its sound like? I'm considering getting one of theseThe eagle has landed. The first thing you notice is the size... It is large. This is not a pocket carry device. I set it next to the QP2R which is a DAP on the large size, and the Cube dwarfs it. QA361, Cube and QP2R...the photo does not do the size justice. I did not plan on carrying the Cube in my pocket anyway, maybe a pouch or a backpack. It is well built, like a tank. It feels substantial in your hand, but not uncomfortable, which caught me off guard.

Yes, KANN CUBE includes a leather case in the retail box. It's similar to the case for the SP1000 AMP. I thought I took some pics of it, but can't find it in the moment. Below are the pics of the SP1000 case. The KANN CUBE has a similar design on the back.
I bought the kann cube and mine did not come with a case. And the case you showed for the sp100 looks just like the kann cube case being sold for 179

It def doesnt bring a case. They are selling it seperatelyThere is unbox at A&K, it seems it doesn't include leather cover in retail package.

Ouch it's a show stopper for me. I also have the old Kann and I was on the verge to buy the cube but I need to feed from both output at the same time.On the KANN it was possible to use the SE and the balanced output and the same time. From this diagram it seems that the CUBE also has the needed circuitry for this function. However, when I plug in the SE, the balanced output is muted. Is there any settings somewhere that I missed?
Does someone can confirm this?
