What would you like to change about the Cube, to make you buy one? Although your DAP is super sweetThxs , I already bought one and this set up.

For me , a better EQ and 4.4 balance. What would you like to change about the Cube, to make you buy one? Although your DAP is super sweet
Mini XLR connection cable is to connect your Cube to a balanced (two 3 pin XLR) amplifier, nothing in a car requires it. This cable is available now, is ridiculously expensive and I cancelled my purchase because of the last minute price increase of $50.On another topic, regarding car connection, I was told that bluetooth to most car systems wouldn’t work before I bought my cube, however you can still use aux in if you have it...all my cars still have aux in and using the cube transforms the original systems that weren’t too bad anyway.
Also I’ve been looking for a mini xlr connection cable, but know nothing about them. I am hoping to get from the xlr out to rca, but not sure if this works with 5 pins or not. Could anyone let me know if this would work with the Cube going to an older home amp as left and right channel rcas? ie 5 pin xlr female to one red and one white rca male plugs.
thanks
Rusty
@Newsee can you tell me anything about the line out voltage settings? I just saw the setting when I switched to low amp gain mode. am wondering which is best for each type of output ..just starting to experiment.Thank you, that helps and I will definitely pursue the toslink firstly and compare to the 3.5 wired and maybe invest in a decent 3.5 cable. The hifi is RedWine audio battery powered so pretty quiet the dac is the RWA bellina. I'll report back w results.

Thanks wormcycle, now I think I understand. I was looking at this way to connect into my home stereo unit, however it doesn’t have xlr sockets, probably too old at 23 years lol, but its still going strong. I found a crappy 3.5mm to rca and it works but not good connection so I’ll look for a premium cable today. Would any of the other output methods on the cube be better than using the 3.5 outlet for this?Mini XLR connection cable is to connect your Cube to a balanced (two 3 pin XLR) amplifier, nothing in a car requires it. Yes, decent, but not "high end" cable, nothing fancy, and make sure you turn line out on. The same 3.5 socket can be used for optical out, that would require a separate DAC to connect it to. I believe the Cube DAC implementation is good enough to just use a Line Out.Thanks wormcycle, now I think I understand. Unfortunately the way Bluetooth is implemented among car manufacturers is inconsistent and results vary by manufacturer, so we recommend not using Bluetooth to connect. For best results, we recommend using an aux connection for best sound quality. Our devices currently do not support Android Auto, but it is something we will look into for the future.Has anyone had success with connecting KC to a vehicle? I have an in-vehicle infotainment system specifically made for Android devices. When I connected the KC, a pop-up window appeared on the KC which said something along the lines of "Won't work, would you like to learn more about Android car connections?" I had the option to click to learn more or just cancel out. Sorry, that is just an approximation of what appeared in the pop-up box, I didn't think to take a photo.
Is it likely that KC should work with autos? This is actually my use case as I sit in traffic every day (even weekends).
I tried to do a Bluetooth connection to the vehicle but it is not even close to working. Popping noises and dropouts with sudden pop-back-in but skipping about a quarter of a second of the music. In other words, totally unusable.
This will be the case for every 2019 Honda vehicle. Oddly enough, I have several other Bluetooth devices, KC connects to all of them flawlessly (although they are all Aptx or Aptx HD, Honda Bluetooth is most likely SBC). Also I can connect any of my other Bluetooth sources and ipods/iphone to the infotainment system, they all work perfectly. So it is just the KC as it connects to the Honda 2019 in-vehicle infotainment system.
There are actually two reasons I mention this in the forum, one is it's my primary use case, but two, this I am pretty sure will be easy to reproduce by the A&K engineering team. Just try to connect to any 2019 Honda infotainment system...
Hope to hear from @JasonNYC about this...

If you are connecting via RCA to your 2-channel system, we recommend using a 3.5mm to RCA cable. Thanks wormcycle, now I think I understand. The Cube tells line out is supported in low gain amplifier mode only. Level: normally the higher the better unless it gets distorted or noisy. It depends on your hi-fi, so just experience. It shall not be complicated, there are only 4 choices. I also wanted to try with my hifi, but the 3.5 output on my Cube has now a contact problem. Time to contact customer support .@Newsee can you tell me anything about the line out voltage settings? This is working great for me even with an unspectacular cable. If you are connecting via RCA to your 2-channel system, we recommend using a 3.5mm to RCA cable.
Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0. When fast charging with the player off, you will see the lightning bolt icon at the bottom shown in this pic:Hi @JasonNYC ,
could you please clarify which charging system KANN CUBE supports for USB quick charge so it will actually negotiate quick charging? Is there any different charge icon when quick charge is working?
