I dont have as many tracks. Maybe around 5000 divided between the internal and an external 64gb card. Yes, its noticeably smother and the irony is as I type that the Jr. just hung. hahahahaha! Anyway, I was one of those who complained about the lag of the previous firmware and I just learned to live with it. Im very happy with this update. Its smother and noticeably faster.

I may bring her back home. I'm going to see what others say also. Thanks

Your welcome. If anyone has goldenears and ears and cares to comment on the sound signature it seems more detailed and a tad warmer to me. I have been playing through multiple sources for the past few days I could just be imagining things.

Hahaha look at SM marketing their things. Super Junior I doubt their music is actually worth AK Jr or 24bit. I think SM also marketed SE846, and that was viewed rather negatively by the press in Korea.

Go to iriverinc, not iriver. Their international site is better, even for a Korean like me

Downloaded my update today with no problems. The update definately speeds things up. I am using it as a DAC to listen to music from my computer at work and it sounds great! It may be my imagination but the bass seems to be a bit more pumped up! I like it.
