I totally agree on your thoughts. Its a great DAP and I love it to death. We're not asking for the sky as we know there are some trade offs when you make something that small and mobile with great SQ. Some of us are very patient. I, for one am, as I've waited almost 3 months for their email reply (I'm still waiting by the way).

I can totally understand that software developement is not easy at all and it takes time to perfect. Its about their after–sales services, customer services that I'm talking about.

Omg that sucks so bloody hard and I'm angry for you. There is no excuse for that kind of CCR. 3 months??!! Ridiculous. Boy. You have zen like patience. I feel for you here and now fear the worst if I get a problem.

I hope you won't have any problems besides the UI or the DAC function over USB 3. Really hope they'll fix everything. All we need to do now is to wait.

Leave the internal empty or not wont help those nasty known bugs including long pause crash or the problem happens when switching from low res to high res songs

Thank you for your thoughts. How about buying 32 gig sandisk extreme micro ssd cards instead of 64gig ?? Could that help lower the lag?

Thanx buddy.. Yeah.. I shall weigh in the SQ as a more important subject than the issues. :)

Good morning to all, yesterday I received ak Jr. and I have a question for you.
The EQ PRO function as you use?
The maximum volume is 75?

Good morning.

EQ PRO makes a subtle difference.

Yes, maximum is 75/75.

I did burn in a couple of nights. Not convinced but it cannot be wrong.

Hello everyone is officially one of you, I am very happy of ak jr.
I bought a iBasso DX80 and my experience has been a disaster ....... with my sr225e and with hd598 had a fatiguing sound strident and often scalers were mixed, I made it back the amazon and then I tried with jr.
I spent 200 euro more but I'm happy, the sound is not fatiguing, and warm and detailed, feel not only more nuances but just musical instruments and more all without the minimum of listening fatigue.
Only a small lack: the bass .... hopefully with a bit of burn-in will improve.
They are the fw 1:02 to 1:03 if I pass benefits?
Thank you.

Glad you're enjoying it.. I figured it would be a better suit for you and your equipment. It is definitely a more musical sound signature than the DX80. The Manual EQ will get you the bass you're looking for, just remember to do VERY minor adjustments. As the sound changes a lot without you realizing it immediately. So just raise the bass up 1 notch, and give yourself a few minutes at that level. If still not enough, raise it up again to 2, and be sure to raise the 2nd slider up 1 notch or you'll start getting the "V" sound (recessed mids).

Hello sledgeharvy, like you said it's all about -CAP player pairings, in fact I find ak much music of the DX80 and the sound and precise and not fatiguing.
ak you have made your back? The x7 we arrived as it sounds?

Yeah, the AK Jr made quite an impression on me for the short time I had with it. The X7 no doubt is fantastic. There too much upside to it, due to the internals and swappable amp modules.. But the AK Jr will always hold a special place in my heart especially when paired with the Fiio E12A.. I can't get over how good they sounded together.

maybe it will be my next purchase lp e12 but I'm afraid that makes it sound kinda cool and edgy in fact I had a e11 and I did not like much.
