Is there a nice case for the AK 380 with the amp attached, apparently the Meteor case is no longer made.

If you don't mind stacking, consider the vorzuge pure 2 or the new upcoming ALO CV5, they are incredible sounding portable amps that will really boast the level of performance of ANY dap imo![]()
How is the AK380 stacked with Mojo? Has anyone done any direct comparisons? I'm really frustrated with my Fiio X7 right now and contemplating returning it and buying an AK380cu or perhaps an offering from Cowon.
Never owned a Cowon, but have owned several AK devices. RWAK120B, AK100II, AK120II, and AK240. Loved them all.
How does the AK sound vs stack with a mojo? Either regular ak380 or copper. Although, I won't buy the regular, might as well just lay the extra cash put and get the copper...
I have only owned the Pono, X7 and Cowon P1. I have tried the AK100II, AK120II and AK240. I can tell you the P1 is leaps and bounds better than the X7 in terms of over all package, build, UI, and SQ. It makes the X7 feel like an unfinished product. I have since put the X7 up for sale. The X7 is still very, very good sounding DAP, but I just couldn't get pass the UI and few small things. The P1 is on par with the AK120II and 240 in terms of SQ and UI. I love the AK build though. Especially the volume knob.
You may consider give Cowon P1 or S a try. From your user name, you probably live in the Bay Area. I don't mind meeting up and let you listen to my P1 if that's the case.

you know that is exactly what i was looking to read, as my next purchase will be cowon s or p1
A freind of mine recommended the cown d and honestly I was shocked that this cheap dap is so good
I love cowon and simply love their eq, so I just want to make sure that I am upgrading from cowon d to something better that is felt as a true upgrade, I am just wondering which to buy the p1 or s, many told me the s was not a big upgrade from p1, and only it is more powerful and has balanced, but its price is expensive. But then is it powerful enough to drive planars
I have ak380 and its amp, and I love it, but its expensive for me to keep so I am selling it, still i find myself that I need to stack it to another amp as the ak380 amp simply is not powerful enough for my oppo pm1 at all

gordec-Thank you for your kind offer, unfortunately I'm in South Florida. Warrior, has to do with my favorite baseball player, Paul O'neill, yankees.
Anyway, I appreciate your input. I like the X7, just not stock. I've always been intrigued with Cowon, especially their eq abilities. Lots to consider.
AK380 Cu. The best DAP ever made.
