Geeze..................

I can't believe my 380Cu has just died on me, even plugged in, the battery icon does not show when I press the power button

Any idea what to press to revitalize it?

Long press what and what?

Any help will be useful and much appreciated as I am traveling soon again....

According to the manual holding the power button for 12 seconds will reset the device. It says it will not affect your data, provided that the data is not in use when doing the reset.

Guys thanks for the advice.

I think my unit probably over heated playing it on high gain with the amp all day and then transferring files...and I suppose it was all too much for it.....

I waited about 15 minutes, and held the power button as advised and it has rebooted.

But thanks very much nevertheless, really appreciate we have decent fellow Head Fi-ers adding to the community......

mmm.....whew! Close call. Thank God it's still ALIVE!. Just spent 20 minutes untarnishing my cu. Good as new.

Yup, indeed, so something to bear in mind for me.

I really didn't want to have return the unit for RMA as I should be off to Switzerland/London, Sunday, for a few days and had wanted to use the combo on the flight over and back...............

This happened to me too 2 days ago, playing music when transferring files....and it suddenly stopped. No reaction on power-button, put it on the charger for a minute and tried it again...worked.

I'm with you -- if there's a change, it's minor.  I scrolled through the menu and didn't notice anything different there, either.  Any release notes?
