Yeah, I wouldn't call the SP3000 warm. I'd say it's neutral, but with more power, weight, authority than the SP2000. I guess that has to do with better low end, but maybe also a sharper definition to the notes. But whatever the case, I'd agree that it gives the impression of an amp being added to the SP2000, even when listening through a low-impedance headphone. This characteristic, and the more holographic sound, are the two things that are the most noticeable when comparing the SP3000 to the SP2000.
