Did not know that was an option!Yes. Sadly playback is limited to 44.1khz due to Android’s limitations. Can be circumvented by using in a usb DAC like a dongle.

If you prefer your phone’s sound- sureSo then use ARC on the phone but no use installing it on the SP3K?
I’m not following, sorry.. Can you please clarify, how exactly do you use Roon ARC when away from home?If you prefer your phone’s sound- sure

Ok so you take the DAP with the android limitation over the phone which can play bit perfect, with the DAP as a dongle?Mobile phone hotspot—>connect to it with your DAP—>open up ARC on the DAP and stream
I've only used ARC on the iPhone with DAPs using the CCK. Now that I have an iPhone with USB C I wonder if it works with a cable only, haven't tried yet.
EDIT: it works. I can't take a picture of it because the phone is connected to the SP3K lol.
ARC on Iphone 15 Pro Max -> USB C cable -> SP3K in DAC mode. Lossless signal path. I would prefer for this to work with ARC on the SP3K itself but at least this works.

I would be using the L&P W2-131 with my iPhone 15 Pro Max but it no longer works…see my little rant over on the L&P W2 thread for reference…Ok so you take the DAP with the android limitation over the phone which can play bit perfect, with the DAP as a dongle?

Apparently Apple is restricting connected devices that use up too much power. No issues with my Samsung Fold 5.

What about the FLAC compatibility in Tidal with the new update? Can somehow say something? Still red light with hi-res music?
Just tried. Using Tidal and it shows "blue".What about the FLAC compatibility in Tidal with the new update? Can somehow say something? Still red light with hi-res music?
But this is MQA to me and not FLAC. Right? The problem was about FLAC Hi-Res. I hope, it was fixed. I cannot check it now.Just tried. Using Tidal and it shows "blue".

For those who use the 3.5mm grounding (eg Crystal EP http://kojo-seiko.co.jp/products/crystalep.html), do take note the new firmware 1.30 will cause it not to function.
@JasonNYC is this a bug?
At v1.20, I can plug in the grounding at 3.5mm followed by the 4.4mm with no problem.

No lock screen, no FLAC support on Tidal, no change or something that we "notice". I aspected more, at least the FLAC support which is very urgent if you ask me. That's really disappointing.

Well, there is at least one improvement I was eagerly waiting for : now, it's possible to install Gboard to get keyboard layout other than qwerty.
