I have SP3k + Tsuranagi. But I haven't heard the 320Max or Mjolnir to be able to compare. All I can say is that the Tsuranagi provides quite a step up in sound quality. Prior to that, I hadn't quite realized how much of an improvement a good amp can make.

i got myself a tsuranagi as well but haven’t yet heard the combo as i am waiting for the yatono mini IC. i really heard good things about it so far. no doubt it will be a good step up. naturally, as new stuff comes on the market be it new lotoo or 320max, i feel the FOMO. i guess it’s a part of the hobby too. i am quite content with sp3k. people selling their almost new sp3k for slightly newer daps is a bit confusing. unless of course it’s not to their liking…

I got a tsuranagi with the mini LE and I think it works well. I don't yet have my sp3k but I'm waiting for the Cu soon. I myself wasn't so very impressed with the SS SP3K when I heard it so hoping the Cu is for me. So far with the SP2K/rwak380 the Tsuranagi has been a keeper.

I have A&K 380 and LPGT TI
I was in Munich with my Jewel Aroma with First Time to listen SP3000 and Molnijr.

I listened 20 minutes sp 3000 SS and CU,but was disappointedly, find much better my LPGT TI,more neutral, transparent and natural.
Also volume I keep LPGT at 46/48 on 100 and sp 3000 to listen at same volume has to go to 130/135 on 150.

Molnjir is another level.Much better than sp 3000 and better in every parameter than LPGT TI
Is in another league.Price around 7.000 euro

Thanks a lot for those very positive listening report on the Mjölnir. I think I will plunge on it.....

Just picked up an SP3000 in black. Magnificent design. Unfortunately, I seem to have been a bit unlucky. The 4.4mm balanced interconnector seems to be faulty. I quickly noticed that the left channel of my Blanc's with their balanced cable were in/out (it seems like only one channel of the left - not a total loss). I initially figured it'd be the cable as it only occurs when touching the cable where it meets the 4.4mm connector, but lots of testing on other DAPs including with an adapter into the 2.5mm on the SP3000, seems to isolate the issue to just that port on the DAP.

Confident the retailer will take care of it but a shame to have to exchange it, especially after a near-perfect screen protector install!

New sp3000 Cu owner here! I got a issue with DAR, when i turn it on i got only distorsión on the left channel, right channel is almost muted. Do you have idea what is going on?

Yes, I connect a SSD 2TB and it reads fast and plays perfectly. It's a pleasant surprise. My SP 3000 suddenly has a heck of a lot more storage. It's not completely portable this way of course, but at my desk it's a game changer. (Sorry for the duplicate post. Can't seem to delete this one).

Ya I stuck a USB-c thumb drive in mine and it works perfectly.

I haven't seen any reports of issues with DAR on the Cu. Do you have some more info? Are you experiencing it with certain tracks or all tracks? Upconverting to PCM or DSD or when doing both?

Also, can you confirm what firmware version you are on? Settings -> System Information.

Testing with local and stream services its the same. PCM its totally dead, no sound at all with dsd option occurs the distorsioned noice on left channel...

I've had audio issues with DAR dsd enabled in usb dac mode while pcm is perfectly fine, haven't tested if this also happens with my SS version though. Both audio switching on and off noises when playback starts or stops and some very harsh sounds on specific songs consistently in the same spots.

Hey Gianni , sorry, but if you used the volume of the SP3000 at 130, you have obvious hearing problems. Or the dap you used was faulty.
With Jewel and PWA First Times , at 85/90 volume and DAR on , feel the music in superlative way , with dynamics , details and huge soundstage .

I can advise everyone, if you want to try using the SP3000 with a portable amp, to try it with the Aroma A100TB + its PS100pro power supply.
The audio quality you get will be incredible.
And its price is super competitive
