How does the amp section of Air compare to something like A&K PA10? Have you compared it?And Air is the best portable DAC Amp under 1000 no cap.

I haven't unfortunately. I prefer it over SP2000T and Kann Alpha though. AK stuff is good but I have always found them kinda overpriced and unengaging (Also their DAPs are laggy as hell and have probably the jankiest UI among all Android DAPs). I prefer the Air to iFi Diablo,Gryphon, Mojo2 and Hugo2 as well (Hugo2 is awesome, it doesn't align with my preference thats all. I only liked it with EE Odin. Too sterile for my taste with other pairings). Really interested to try out the Earmen Angel. A friend of mine has bought one recently but its still stuck in the airport customs. Air is powerful for a BT Dac Amp (upto 400 mw @600 ohms, it intellegently adjusts power depending on the headphone/IEM. Works perfectly everytime regardless of driver specs). But pure amps like Tsuranagi (incredible sound), A100TB, PA10, C9 etc will pack more punch. I faced no trouble driving the likes of HD650 and Edition XS/ Arya Stealth though. How does the amp section of Air compare to something like A&K PA10? Have you compared it?
If I may offer some advice... try the Spinfit W1, so you'll put the original ones back in the boxAnybody knows if there’s a way to get some spare stock tips for jewel? Aroma does not list them on their website and I cannot find the same tips when checking acoustune tips online.
I think Spinfit w1 should be the best fitting tips for Jewel. I find the W1 to be one of the best tips around. For the brief session I had with the Jewel, W1 gave the best fit.Anybody knows if there’s a way to get some spare stock tips for jewel? Man, those are the most musical iems to be in human ears. Enjoy your time.My jewel’s finally here. Goddamn it’s sonic bliss; glad I bought it. Looks the part as well. New favorite. This is the Horus 8
I tried them, I found W1 not fitting my ears as well as stock so the sound has more depth but lose quite a bit of bass slam.I prefer the stock for fit and sound wiseIf I may offer some advice... try the Spinfit W1, so you'll put the original ones back in the box
I have an Earmen Angel. It’s my go to device for listening. The dac section is good and the amp section is a lot better. The amp has a super clean output and has enough power. Overall, the device is one of good to have devices. I have a soft corner for it.Really interested to try out the Earmen Angel. A friend of mine has bought one recently but its still stuck in the airport customs.
W1 is a tricky one. They are slightly bigger than average sizes (M is basically somewhere between L and M). I always have trouble getting seal in my right ear with W1 (IER M9). Sounds good though. Slightly bigger soundstage and more subbass compared to stock Sony EP EX11 tips (when it fits, which is often hit or miss)Today , I got to try the Spinfit W1 on my Jewel , connected with Orpheus shielding to my SP3000 .
Would these be the best earphones for Jewel???
Are we joking ? Ok that everyone's ears differ, but these earphones make the sublime sound of Jewel like mobile headphones!
Poor isolation , bass disappears and everything is ridiculously poor .
I quickly put the stock earphones back on and everything was magical again. Jewel was back, luckily
Oh man did it really have to be so swanky yellow and pink?FEI WAN is coming, and Aroma unveiled it on their social media, did you notice it?
Can’t wait to listen it
