That has been asked and answered many times, it all depends on the USB adapter if it gets enough power (AFAIK official Apple one works fine) I do not own/use Apple devices.

The adapter that you use to connect to your Apple device as it does not have USB, again the info is in this thread, and I do not use Apple, but I remember some posts on topic.

Win11 Canary now fixed.
A new Name/Status/Icon, if you choose the Speakers Mode in Creative App, it will state Speakers and show the Speakers icon (no need to edit it yourself anymore).
This icon is already outdated as BT-W5 does not come with the little Mic and in SoundSwitch the icon is small so hard to see on the Windows Taskbar.

Creative released a new FW, Audio Driver and some other type of update (not Creative App that was weeks ago) to sort HFP issue and fix product Images but it has introduced a bug, bummer (will add more later).
Hi @helmutcheese, glad the Canary isue is resolved and sorry about the bug...will await your additional comments on that. Does the Win 11 app. now enable you to determine if the BT-W5 truly does transmit 24 / 96 in AptX adaptive HQ setting, not just 24 / 48 as it appears my KB0P does?

Again, there is no way to know for sure if the BT side is 24/96 as no screen or LED to show bitrate at either end.
I would like the App to show this as it does show the USB side as 24/96 if you choose that but I am at 16/44.1 for now as using Spotify.
They could have added a 2nd LED on the Dongle that is a different colour for 44.1/48/96 like some devices do have.
