anyone here test it with USB player Pro on Android? just got this dongle to pair it with my FiiO UTWS5 and the sample rate seems to be all over the place?

normal playback with the dongle shows 48kHz
MQA bit perfect playback with dongle shows 96kHz
connecting my UTWS5 directly to my Samsung S21 ultra shows 176.4kHz

why isn't the dongle providing constant 96kHz?

^^ I will try it later but TBH it to me is not as obvious what the file is playing at as it can be what the files source is whereas I can see both in PowerAmp and if any Up/Down Sampling is going on added to there is a setting that can artificially make BT play higher than it actually can (states as much next to the setting and may not be supported on some devices).

EDIT: I had previously uninstalled USB audio Player as it kept popping up when I connected the DAC/USB Dongle and TBH I do not really like the interface/GUI and IMO PowerAmp is better esp. for BT.

Some of us had that model originally, just plug it in and it will eventually enter pairing mode if it does not find a connection to any current devices (you have none so far).

I found plugging it in for 5secs then quickly unplug/plug back in and it would enter pairing mode.

When it works, it enters pairing mode the moment you supply it with power. Don't you see the flashing LED when it first receives power? You then have to quickly put your headphones into pairing mode.
Nope, it just stays red, despite not being connected to any device.

I guess the new Creative Adapter can be worth it since it offers much more funcitonallity like the app/button...:frowning2:

Try using the dongle assistant to enable it to “enter pairing mode after reconnect timeout” if that’s not already on. That’s the problem setting that if it’s not on then the dongle may fail to enter pairing mode.

Where can I download the assistant? I haven't read every post in this thread :)

Been out a while now, do not like the fact it lights up aptX LL and aptX HD at the same time to show it is in aptX Adaptive Mode, one LED that has varied colours like the KB9P would be better IMO.

I cannot remember reading if it has App support or not.

It states 25m then later states 10m for the range, all basic Class 2 products are 10m, it would ideally need be a higher-powered Class 1 device to get 15m+ but the antenna will no doubt help.
