There’s no confirmation that’s the 24/96 versions. I already bought the 16/48 versions from Vivian on Taobao. Those prices are very high too. That’s what I’d expect to pay on Amazon for next day delivery.
Someone I know ordered this product. We'll let you know if this dongle supports 24bit 96kHz when it arrives.

I saw that in some stores but not sure if true and would be bummer to end up with the same old settings.

FiiO should have held off with the BTA30 PRO and launched it 6 months later with aptX Adaptive, but it was made due to the shortage of the chipset the BTA30 used (actually a lower chipset), and it would not be able to be added as there is no space left on the chip as they had to leave AAC out for TX Mode (it does have it in RX Mode) in favour of aptX-LL which make sense.

This is the result of someone disassembling the dongle. It is true that it is equipped with the QCC 3056 chipset.

I connected my new MTW3's to my PC+ aptX Adaptive dongle and then used the App on my phone to see what it was doing.

This is the first I can actually prove it is working as intended in aptX Adaptive mode as the RED LED could be anything they claim it is.

Only 48k, less LED colours for more Codecs and no manual Codec switching so you need to use what it decides on (Windows will choose AAC over aptX now for some reason or another but hopefully the App will let you change this.

Hello, any of these works on iphone 13 pro max? I want to get the fiio utws5, but wanted a better codec on iphone. Any way to get this to work on iphone to get adaptative aptx? Thanks
I use my KB8P with that iPhone. I use a third party lightning to USB-A adapter. The Apple official adapter didn’t work because it has some kind of current limiter and the KB8P wanted more.

I also got the strangely shaped lightning version dongle that seems like it is by the same people but only the 16-bit version was available at the time. It actually sounds great with my UTWS5 despite not being 24-bit.

Thanks man, what about this usbc aptx can be found on aliexpress or only taobao, seems so small, is like the kb8p?
So, it’s similar but the version I have does not have programmable codecs. This doesn’t disadvantage the UTWS5 though. You could pair it with a lightning to USB-C adapter.

I think if we wait a few weeks/months then the 24-bit versions of the USB-C or Lightning AptX adaptive dongles will appear on Aliexpress.

I've been following this thread and ordered a KB9p from Alliexpress which arrived today. It seems to be working really well, except that it only shows up in Windows as 16/48 with no option to select other formats. I've tried it on 3 different devices with the same results.

Is there something I am missing, does it need a specific driver perhaps? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
