Unfortunately, this dongle is not a qcc 3071.
3071 is currently not officially for sale in the prototype demo phase.

Itโs up to you to provide the source, in terms of up to 24-bit/96KHz, then aptX Adaptive really just works on a best effort to distance basis. If you want best quality, then you need to have clear line of sight between transmitter and receiver and a super short distance For the max rate. Itโs something like 3 metres maximum distance to retain max rate. Less distance equals more quality. No barriers including the human body. What chipset is used in BT-W4?
It seems that Creative's Japanese website has more information about the BT-W4:

Just curious, how does Aptx Adaptive determine what is currently playing (Tidal, YouTube, Rocket League, Twitch etc.) and choose the right parameters for transmission?
Maybe a little off-topic, but I currently have Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 and there are some nasty compatibility/connection issues with the BT-W3..
I was just referring to aptX Adaptive. I donโt think the BT-W4 is a good enough effort. Too little too late.actual specification of bt-w4 is 24bit 48kHz support. 24bit 96kHz is not supported.
I will update this with more later on my return and add my findings.
I tested it set to 24/48k then 24/96k to see if Amazon Music HD detected it correctly but right now, I have no earbuds that are aptX Adaptive 24/96k only 24/48 so I set it to 24/48k for my listening but probably will just use my FiiO's via LDAC.
The previous adapter was 16/48k.
mtw3 supports aptX adaptive 24-bit 96kHz. How about amazon music hd output when connected via mtw3?

I'm not even sure if the QCC3040 is 24/96k, I know the dongle is 24/96k, but I'm assuming the USB side and the BT side are 24/48, so the above settings are pointless unless you are using a 3.5mm output over the wire. earphone.
Amazon detects the dongle settings in the Windows audio settings whatever the earbuds are, even with SBC, so as you can see above, there is no way to ensure that 24/96k is reaching the earbuds. 24/96 using the SoundPeats Sonic PRO (there are H1 Premiums too) but both seem to be up to 24/48k.
I'm using MTW3 (QCC3040) and dongle (QCC3040) right now. It says 24/96k support without Snapdragon Sound here, but I thought it should be for 24/96k (QCC514x, QCC515x or QCC3056 chipset). Snapdragon Sound.
